Dans was mijn eerste liefde \u00e9n eerste expressie vorm, op de leeftijd dat ik nog geen woorden kon geven aan wat er van binnen leefde. Al gauw werd duidelijk dat ik hier ook op professioneel vlak iets mee wilde en vond ik, na het volgen van een opleiding aan een Klassieke Dansacademie, een plek als danseres bij Het Internationaal Danstheater.
Onderweg ontdekte ik ook mijn liefde voor andere kunstvormen, o.a. voor schrijven, en verscheen het verlangen naar meer kennis en wijsheid. Een verlangen dat werd gevoed met de vraag \u2018Wie ben ik?\u2019\u00a0Het was een vraag waarop ik van jongs af aan hoopte antwoord te vinden.\u00a0Dit heeft ertoe geleid dat ik Filosofie en Cultuurwetenschappen ben gaan studeren, met als specialisatie Esthetiek en Culturele Diplomatie; de studies naar kunst en schoonheid als verbindende factor, zowel op persoonlijk vlak, alsook tussen mensen, landen en culturen.<\/span>

<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Hierna heb ik bijna 10 jaar in de cultuur- en hoger onderwijssector gewerkt; waarvan een aantal jaren als hoofd van de internationale Bachelor-opleiding Dans bij ArtEZ University of the Arts.
<\/span>In die\u00a0jaren heb ik deelgenomen aan professionele leiderschapsprogramma’s, plaatsgehad in diverse commissies, en ben ik co-founder van AFCNederland.nl geworden; een stichting door en voor geadopteerden en pleegvolwassenen.<\/p>\n

Tijdens het bewandelen van dit professionele pad is er ook lange tijd een andere beweging gaande geweest, waar ik me lange tijd niet bewust van was.
Door trauma, mijn ervaringen van het afgestaan en geadopteerd zijn, invloed van de dansacademie en andere sociaal maatschappelijke machts-structuren, ben ik onderweg in het leven de veilige verbinding met mijn lichaam en daardoor de verbinding met mezelf kwijtgeraakt.
Dit heeft er uiteindelijk voor gezorgd dat ik een ander pad ben gaan bewandelen; de weg naar belichaming en bewustwording, ofwel de weg terug naar mezelf.\u00a0
Waar ik aanvankelijk startte met yoga, systemisch en\u00a0lichamelijk trauma-werk als bewustzijnsleer en persoonlijke ontwikkeling, heb ik me uiteindelijk laten scholen<\/span> in de krachtige technieken en methodes van o.a. Systemisch (trauma) werk en familie- en organisatie opstellingen aan de School van Systemisch Bewustzijn, Yoga & Meditatie aan Yia Yoga – School for Transformation in Panama, (adoptie) coaching bij Alpha Omnia,
en emotioneel lichaamswerk bij Esoterra – instituut voor lichaamsgerichte zorg en (trauma)therapie.
Ook heb ik mezelf ondergedompeld in de tango en gevormd tot danser en docent.<\/p>\n

De verschillende paden die ik heb bewandeld heb ik samengebracht <\/span>binnen Aurum. Een plek die is ontstaan omdat de zoektocht naar een eigen thuis, mijn liefde voor expressie alsook voor kennis, wijsheid en bewustzijn, een rode draad zijn gebleken in mijn leven.\u00a0<\/span>Zodat alles wat ik heb ervaren en geleerd op belichaamde wijze(n) weer door mag geven en hiermee hopelijk anderen mag inspireren.<\/span>

In deze beweging ligt voor mij de schoonheid.

Ik ben een bi-culturele vrouw van Vietnamees-Franse, en Engelstalige oorsprong, geboren, geadopteerd en opgegroeid in de Nederlandse cultuur. Geleidelijk aan merkte ik dat het\u00a0antwoord op de vraag \u2018Wie ben ik\u2019 zich pas echt openbaart als je durft af te dalen naar je gehele zijn, je de veiligheid kan vinden om je te verbinden met je eigen systeem, en de systemen waar je\u00a0onderdeel van bent. Ofwel jezelf helemaal durft te belichamen op alle vlakken. Al je ervaringen hierbij te integreren. Dit betekent ook grote schaduwstukken durven aankijken, en dingen durven loslaten die niet van jou zijn.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Het antwoord op de zoektocht naar mijn eigen \u2018Sense of Self\u2019 \u00a0heb ik dan ook gevonden door te landen in- en verbinden met mijn gehele lichaam, mijn (biologische) oorsprong en culturen, en met de maatschappelijke-sociale en existenti\u00eble context waarin ik ben opgegroeid. Het\u00a0heeft me aan de ene kant enorme rijkdom gebracht, en aan de andere kant heeft het me diep existenti\u00eble\u00a0verliezen laten voelen. Niet in de laatste plaats het verlies van mijn familie, mijn cultuur, en mezelf.\u00a0
Juist door met dit alles te leren verbinden, en mijn ervaringen te integreren, ben ik weer van mezelf. Ik kan vandaag de dag voelen wie ik ben en expressie geven aan al dat wat in mij leeft. Belichaamd; als Lichaams-filosoof, als Teacher en (Bege)Leider, als Tangodanser en als Schrijver. Als mens. Als Aur\u00e9lie.<\/p>\n

Anderen omschrijven Aur\u00e9lie als inlevend, doorgrondend, en richtinggevend. Als iemand die diep gevoelsmatig en sensitief te werk gaat,\u00a0terwijl ze\u00a0haar analytische en intellectuele kracht gebruikt.\u00a0Als een vrouw die het persoonlijke spiegelt aan het grotere geheel en vice versa.
